After taking a year’s vacation, the Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association’s (FNGLA) celebrated Landscape Awards program returns with added emphasis on wide promotion of the award-winning projects. The award-winning landscape projects will be showcased, and winners will receive their awards, on the floor of The Landscape Show, September 27-29, 2012 in Orlando.  “Landscape contractors, maintenance firms, designers and architects of Florida landscape projects are encouraged to submit their best projects to be judged,” said Halsey Beshears, FNGLA president. “FNGLA will be shining a bright light on the impressive winning projects and positioning them as the ‘best of the best’ by Florida’s most prestigious landscape professionals.”  The FNGLA has created new entry categories for landscape installation, redesign and renovation, and maintenance projects in each of nine different types of projects. Florida landscape projects completed since January 1, 2009 are eligible to be entered.

All entries will be judged this summer by a panel of distinguished industry jurists. Honorary Mention certificates will be provided to all entry applicants who do not win awards. There are four Special Recognition Awards including a brand new FNGLA Florida Friendly™ Landscape Award.  Detailed information about the exciting return of FNGLA’s Landscape Award program, its entry types, categories and the new, easy, online application process can all be found on the Landscape Awards area of FNGLA’s website. Up to 20 digital images of each landscape entry are now encouraged. The deadline for all entry applications is July 6, 2012.
